Activate mega trial
First-time users of the Mega service can select "Try Mega" from the left-side menu in the development center to activate a trial. Each account can only create one trial Mega service.
The trial package includes resource quotas such as 1 mapping task project, 2 cloud localization databases, and 3 concurrent request QPS. For details, please refer to the package description in Mega localization service introduction.
Note
For users who have already activated a Mega service (including trial or paid versions), the "Try Mega" entry will no longer be displayed in the left menu of the development center. If you need to continue using or expand the service, please contact EasyAR sales or refer to the purchase process in manage localization databases.
Before you start
- Access the EasyAR development center and complete login
- Confirm that the current account has not created a Mega service before
Activation steps
1. Click "try mega"
Select "Try Mega" from the left-side menu of the development center, and click the Try Mega button in the top-right corner of the page.
Important
This entry is only visible to accounts that have not activated a Mega service before. If you have already created a Mega service, skip this page and directly refer to configure localization database to complete the subsequent configuration.
2. Select service region
In the pop-up dialog box, carefully select the region for creating the Mega service. The selected region will affect the deployment location of cloud localization computing nodes. Please make your choice based on the operation region of your AR product and network latency requirements.
After making your selection, click the Confirm button.
3. Fill in relevant usage information
If your account personal usage information is not fully filled, a dialog box for filling information will pop up at this time. Please fill in the complete information and click the Save button. After saving successfully, you will be redirected to the "Create trial Mega service" page.
4. Fill in service information
On the "Create trial Mega service" page, fill in the following information:
- Mega cloud localization service name: used to identify this trial service for easy identification and management in the console later
- Mapping location information: fill in the geographic location corresponding to the Mega Block mapping task
After filling in all information completely, click OK to complete the activation of the trial Mega cloud localization service.
After activation
After the trial Mega service is successfully activated, you will automatically unlock the relevant menus for Mega Block, and you can view service groups and cloud localization databases on the "Block cloud localization" page.
