Introduction to Mega Toolbox (Mini Program)
Mega Toolbox (Mini Program) is a Mega cloud localization verification tool running on WeChat xr-frame. Scan its QR code in WeChat to open it. You can check localization on site and record abnormal data for diagnosis without writing code or packaging an app.
Before you begin
- Complete Block construction and add the Block to be verified to a cloud localization database.
- Prepare an EasyAR account with access to the database and a phone with WeChat installed and an internet connection.
- Go to the site corresponding to the target Block. The Mini Program is limited by WeChat VisionKit device support; see Device limitations.
Main features
The tool supports on-site localization verification and abnormal data recording. Use it to check spatial alignment and report localization issues.
Verify localization and spatial alignment
After selecting a cloud localization database and starting the tool, you can view the current result and past localization states to determine whether the target Block has been found.
For Blocks mapped with version 9.6 or later, you can display the mask file from the mapping result and adjust the mask mesh opacity. Compare walls, floors, seams, and corners with the real scene. No annotation data is needed to verify with a mask file.
To verify virtual content at a particular position, load annotation data created with Mega Studio. Check its alignment with the real scene and watch for jitter or drift while moving the phone.

Record and report abnormal data
If localization fails, has an offset, or tracking behaves abnormally, record runtime logs and dump data. After stopping the recording, export the files through the WeChat sharing interface for EasyAR technical support to analyze.

- Log in to your EasyAR account and select the cloud localization database to verify. Annotation data is optional; select
Do not use annotationsif you do not need it. - For an on-site test, leave
Off-site testunchecked, clickStart, and grant camera and location permissions. - Wait for initialization and localization, then display the mask file or view annotation content.
